Ascott Parc Event Centre is a one of the preferred venues for outdoor Indian weddings. Ascott Parc has a lavish 4 acre of magnificent gardens framed with a conservation area with built-in rustic Gazebo and water featured backdrop. This is definitely one of those unique outdoor venues in Concord Area perfect for outdoor Sikh or Hindu weddings.

The Ascott Parc team has also set up a tent which can serve the purpose of outdoor dining in the event indoor dining is prohibited. For all the Indian brides getting married in October and worried about how the weather will be, it was +22 C. We were blessed with warm weather and sunshine at Ascott Parc. Raman and Paul are one of the most easy going couples. Chandan Fashion designed this couple’s beautiful wedding attire. Lesonne Bridals, one of our favourite vendors to work with, glammed up our bride.
Dream Party Decor, one of the most experienced wedding decorators in the Toronto Wedding industry, drapped the gazebo in style with a floral touch for this Ascott Parc Indian wedding.

Sikh Wedding Ceremony at Ascott Parc Indian Wedding
Kabul Singh Baba ji, one of the officiant that many couples have for their outdoor anand karaj, was here for the Sikh ceremony at this Ascott Parc Indian wedding. When planning a Sikh ceremony, the first thing you need to find after the venue is a Sikh wedding officiant. There are very baba ji’s who can perform ceremonies outside gurudwara premises. Here is our blog on things you need to do before planning an outdoor Sikh wedding.
As soon guests were seated, Groom came and sat in the gazebo waiting for his bride. It was the moment all the guests at Ascott Parc were waiting for. Through the beautiful Fall leaves, the bride Raman walked down the aisle with her parents in this beautiful Chandan Fashion outfit. We are always excited to photograph the moment when a couple sees each other for the first time.
You can see our bride showcasing the widest smile looking at her soon-to-be-husband. This is always a magical moment and we try our best to capture this moment in every wedding. Paul smiled back and you could see how excited he was to finally get married. Anand Karaj is a blissful union of the couple, this ceremony was beautifully conducted by the Kabul Singh ji. Couple did exchange of vows after their Sikh ceremony at the Ascott gazebo. You can definitely feel the energy in the guests when this couple were finally announced as married.

Lighting Challenges at Ascott Parc Indian Wedding
One of the biggest challenges of photographing Indian weddings outdoors at Ascott Parc is ever changing lighting conditions. This is where your experience as an artist comes into play. The couple sitting outside the gazebo and due to shadow casted by the gazebo structure the groom was in the shadow and the bride was in the sun. There were also times when the bride was half in shadow and half in the sun. These are some of the few considerations and challenges when it comes to photographing outdoors. We have experience in photographing at Ascott Parc before so we were prepared with additional photography lights. We, at Alfaaz Photography, highly recommend to ensure a plan such that the couple seating during the outdoor ceremonies are never in partial shade.
Another challenge, we see at Ascott parc, is cars visible in the background from the gazebo which can be easily fixed. On the right side of Ascott Parc Gazebo, you can see the parking lot. We want couples to be aware that they will see cars parked in the background in some images. With our experience, we were prepared to work around and did some extra post-processing work when needed to save some of the images. Ascott Parc has a huge parking lot. We would recommend the bride in future weddings to consider requesting the venue to leave first lane parking blocked next to the gazebo if they absolutely want no cars in any of their images.

Photoshoot at Ascott Parc Indian Wedding
After the Sikh ceremony, the guests ushered to the beautiful tent for lunch as the couple went for their post-wedding pictures. One of the good reasons to get married at Ascott Parc is their 4 arches of garden. Remember it was October and Ascott Parc Event Centre has perfect fall trees to showcase the Canadian Fall. Beautiful oranges and reds and yellows of the Canadian fall made these post-wedding photos more beautiful.
We were fortunate enough to finish the photoshoot just in time before rain came for 15 minutes. Ascott Parc Event Centre has a tent right next to the gazebo where couples walked in to cut their cake and enjoy a meal with their guests.
This was again one of the most beautiful days in the Fall of 2020. We love photographing outdoor Indian weddings at this extravagant venue Ascott Parc Event Centre.
