Shiv & Shali’s Embassy Grand Indian Reception
Shiv and Shali’s reception was held the day after their wedding ceremony in one of the most elegant halls of Brampton. The Embassy Grand is one of our favorite halls to work with. Ricco Decor designed a white elegant set with gold tones for a fine regal finish.
Cocktails at Embassy Grand Indian Reception
Guests were greeted with mouth-watering food from Embassy Grand. Our couple was dressed to kill in a black tux and an ivory lengha. The venue itself had so many great spots to photograph so we did Shiv and Shali’s reception shoot inside the venue.
With experience you get to learn to create images in any space. These images are just done in front of a window and colors are added in post-processing.
Entrances at Embassy Grand Indian Reception
We are about to get this party started and DJ was all set alongside the emcees of the night. Bride’s brother-in-law and Groom’s sister emceed this reception and they were on point. Usually, we highly recommend getting a professional emcee. However, we want families to enjoy the reception, but these guys made it very personal for guests and the couple.
Soon, the doors were opened for the bridal party to run inside in an electrified room filled with people. The energy was on another level as this dashing couple walked in the room with some wicked Bollywood moves. Everyone was on their feet as the atmosphere lit up with positive energies.
Speeches & Dances at Embassy Grand Indian Reception
We always look forward for speeches as we get to learn more about the couple. There were some emotional speeches from both ends which did get us some teary emotions.
But knowing this Bollywood couple, we knew this will be one epic dance party. Shali surprises our groom with a classical Indian dance performance and yes while wearing a heavy bridal lengha.
Shiv had to surprise his wife! So, the groom and his boys surprised everyone and the most important person in the room Shali.
After which, we had Mr. & Mrs. take the stage for their first dance at Embassy Grand. They are both phenomenal dancers (Shali a little more than Shiv), so this dance was nothing more than perfect.
As soon the dance floor opened, kids to elderly, everyone was on the dance floor dancing on the tunes of the DJ.
You could really see how everyone loved this couple so much. Everyone was there to celebrate this union!
Grand Finally at Embassy Grand Indian Reception
Before we left the hall, we took Shiv and Shali to the bar to create one final epic photo for them. As expected, these two were down to do whatever. It was raining that night and all weekend, but this couple wasn’t worried about the rain. We wanted to incorporate the rain in their images so that every time it rained it would bring them back to this special weekend.
It was like the God blessed this couple. As soon we got our couple outside to photograph them in rain, it all stopped.
We were very determined to create them a photo they will remember, so we asked the bride’s family and friends to spite water out of the mouths to create rain drops. Yes, it was cheating but at the end we created these epic shots just outside Embassy Grand without rain.
