Dilpreet and Mandip’s Sikh Wedding was one of the most detailed weddings we have photographed recently. From a lavish peacock feather gown for the reception to an engagement shoot in the Italian Alps, this high-end Sikh wedding was well thought of by the bride and groom and executed flawlessly by the esteemed team of vendors they hand-selected. A great vendor team is so important for executing a high-end Indian Wedding affair.

It is of utmost importance for all your vendors to have one unified understanding for your wedding vision. One weak link in makeup, planning or videography can make or break the whole experience.
Our great team of vendors for this high-end Sikh wedding is one of the main reasons why everything went so smoothly.
Morning of this High-End Sikh Wedding
Bride Getting Ready
Our day started in Bride’s beautiful home where Ruchika from Lesonne Bridals, one the best makeup artists, was getting our bride ready. Anita Dongre‘s custom designed a beautiful cream off-white wedding lehenga for our bride. Dilpreet had worked her charm to get custom embroidered elephants on her wedding attire.
Ruchika was working her magic to create a front braid while Blair for Ella Films was getting some of the bridal details.
We wanted this getting ready imagery to be very crisp and bright. Fine touches of gold on the walls gave a very lavish and royal feel to these images.
Anita Dongre’s outfit with custom stone work jewelry by Janak Jewellers all came so effortlessly.
We were able to capture the beautiful mother-daughter love and Dilpreet’s father’s emotions as Dilpreet was about to leave her home for her Sikh Wedding ceremony.
Groom Getting Ready
On the other end, Mandip was getting ready with his brother and groomsmen. Mandip was complimenting his bride wearing an exclusive sherwani from Anita Dongre. A perfect pairing of a khaki turban with light mint palla and kalgi giving a rich touch.
High-End Sikh Wedding Ceremony Begins
A growing trend for Indian weddings is having decorations at your gurdwara. This high-end Sikh wedding was a trendsetter with having their gurdwara decorated with fresh flowers and more elephants by Dream Party Decor. This added to the glam and aesthetics of the whole wedding. We always recommend to confirm with your gurdwara, being mindful this is a place of worship, if you can get decorations done at your hall.

Another new trend is catering at the gurdwaras in Toronto. The Host, one the most esteemed caterers in Toronto, prepared some special mouth-watering meals outside of the gurdwara in a tent for the guests. For more Indian wedding caterers options in Toronto, see our blog. Again, please make sure to get all the permissions from your gurdwara before booking an outside caterer.
A well planned wedding includes taking care of your guests. The Host alongside Chic Events by Sonia’s team made sure everyone enjoyed their sit down meals before and after the Sikh wedding ceremony.
Anand Karaj
Gurdwara Nanaksar on Gore Road was fully packed for this high-end Sikh wedding. As soon our groom walked in with his parents, everyone was excited to see and welcome the bride.

Bride walked in past the statues of elephants into the wedding ceremony hall. Everyone turned around to get a glimpse of the bride.

You could see a sweet smile exchanged by the couple. We always love capturing the first look by the couple.

Anand Karaj began with the palla ceremony. Soon we were about to start the lavaan. Brothers came to help the bride Dilpreet as the couple walked four times around the Sikh holy book of worship.

Right when Sikh wedding ceremony was completed, there were mixed emotions and tears of joy. We always want to make sure that we capture the mood felt in such moments during the wedding.

Remember couples are reliving memories through the images we take.
Post-Wedding Photos
Right after these two were married. Chic Events by Sonia’s team organized the shagun photos before we went for post-wedding portraits and photos.
Here are some portraits from this gorgeous couple right after their high-end Sikh wedding ceremony. Dilpreet loves those edit touches to images and Mandip loves the natural touches to images. Check these images right after the Sikh wedding ceremony.

High-End Sikh Wedding Reception at Bellvue Manor
Bellvue Manor is one of the most esteemed venues for Indian wedding receptions. Our couple has great taste as you will see, everything about this high-end Indian Sikh wedding was unique. A very sophisticated design in decorating this stunning venue by Dream Party Decor. Bellvue Manor was glammed up by fresh flowers and gold accents. We started our evening while Chic Events by Sonia’s team was putting the final touches to the hall.
Our couple walked in looking straight out of a GQ magazine. Dilpreet custom designed this dress, a trail full of peacock feathers. Yes, it was one of the most extravagant weddings we had seen lately at an Indian wedding reception. We had Vik the Emcee and DJ Sparx from Empire Entertainment all set-up.

Fine Dining Experience at this High-End Sikh Wedding
Guests’ experience was one of the key things taken care of throughout this High-End Indian Wedding. With the help of Chic Events by Sonia and The Host, guests were about to be treated to a fancy 5-course sit down dinner. Yes, serving 800 people a sit down dinner sounds like a pretty difficult feat. However, Bellvue Manor was fully equipped and took care of everything with ease.
Entrances and First Dance at this High-End Sikh Wedding
Guests were all pumped to welcome our bride and groom. Vik the emcee definitely made sure the energies were high as this stunning couple walked in the venue. You can see the excitement an emcee can get out of your guests. We often miss a professional emcee which makes a world of difference. Luckily for this high-end wedding reception at Bellvue Manor, we had one of the Toronto industry’s best emcee Vik from Empire Entertainment.

An extravagant cake from one of the best in the industry Fine Cakes by Zehra was waiting for the couple.

Vik asked everyone to turn on their cell phone lights for the couples first dance. The mood in the Bellvue Manor was full of romance as the couple took the centre stage for their first dance.

Speeches and Unique Entertainment at this High-End Sikh Wedding
The Host was ready for the first set of appetizers as the speeches were lined up. These caterers are one of finest in the Toronto and GTA area. The taste, presentation and service were top notch for every guest.
Brother-of-the-bride and brother-of-the-groom delivered an emotional speech. You can see some tears and hugs in these images below.

Guests’ experience at the Bellvue high-end Sikh wedding reception was going up a level. While guests were enjoying their meal, Chic Events by Sonia’s team had planned a ballerina performance to entertain our guests. Another reason why this high-end Sikh wedding was one in a lifetime.

Soon, after the speech, the couple delivered their thank you speech to their guests and families. A bottle of ace of spades was the perfect way to celebrate their union.

This high-end Sikh wedding had a lot of pre-production. Dilpreet and Mandip went all the way to Italy for an engagement shoot. Mandip wanted to showcase those images at their reception. Here is a link to romance in Italian Alps photographed by us.
As the main meal was being served by The Host, guests were eagerly waiting for dessert. We had another exceptional visual for guests and couple, Ella B, one talented cinematographers in Toronto showcased the same-day wedding edit.
Dance Floor Opens at this High-End Sikh Wedding
No Sikh wedding ends without a packed dance floor. Dj Sparx from Empire Entertainment was ready and Vik the MC called everyone to the dance floor for a group selfie to start the party.

Again, this couple picked one the best vendor teams possible. Finest and most esteemed vendors were part of this project. Every single vendor was committed to give our couple their dream wedding.
