Chicago Indian Weddings

Harneet and Joe have one adorable story, these two know each other since they were 12. From their bhangra practices in Chicago to this day, these two have stayed by each other through thick and thin.

Harneet, daddy’s little princess, was dressed in a New Delhi Company’s regal gown for her wedding. New Delhi Company, based in Toronto, is one of our highly recommended vendors from Toronto, Canada. Soft colours and with two dupattas, one adding contrast to the whole look is one of the most growing trends in the North America wedding industry.

Belle Femme Studio did a superb job with hair and makeup. We got a chance to document Harneet’s connection with her family while she was getting ready in her house just on the outskirts of Chicago.

On the other side, this super energetic groom, Joe, along with his groomsmen were getting ready. The groomsmen wore baby blue turbans and jackets over white kurtas. The groom had a dark green shawl to add a royal touch to his outfit.

We had gathered outside the beautiful Gurdwara Palatine in Chicago for the Baraat reception on that sunny day. Remember how we told you Joe met Harneet during Bhangra practice, so you can expect the Groom and groomsmen dancing their way to the Gurdwara.

Ceremony at this Royal Chicago Indian Wedding

Palatine Sikh temple in Chicago had wood ceilings and a lot of natural light giving a very soft touch to the whole ambiance.Palatine Gurdwara also known as Sikh Religious Society in Chicago is one of the best sikh temples to get married.

Joe and Harneet were looking gorgeous at their ceremony at this Sikh temple and here are some images from their wedding day.

After the ceremony, we headed over to the Wandering Tree Estate for post wedding pictures. This beautiful historic location, right by the lake near Chicago at the edge of the lake Zurich, was a beautiful venue for weddings and we had the privilege to take post-wedding images at this location. Wandering Tree Estate has about 10 acres of land which has fountains and waterfalls and railroad museum which makes it a very good option for outdoor Indian ceremonies outdoors in Chicago

Doli Ceremony

Doli ceremony is one of the most emotional parts of an Indian wedding ceremony and we were expecting some emotional moments as the Bride left for Doli and that is exactly what we got.

Chicago Style Wedding Reception

Chicago is known for its skyline and architecture; as this couple are proud Chicagoans, we wanted to show off their Chicago pride in their photos.

We organized our pre-reception photoshoot in downtown Chicago adding that dramatic effect. Harneet was dressed in her beautiful Sabyasachi black floral lengha dress and Joe was looking sharp in a dark tuxedo. Surrounded by tall Chicago buildings and peaking sun rays, we were able to get some beautiful images of this couple.

Reception at this Royal Chicago Sikh Wedding.

Right after the downtown Chicago photoshoot, we headed over to the reception location. A very well-known Indian Wedding venue in Chicago, Ashyana Banquet hall. It was a great venue and it was ready to host one big party for Harneet and Joe. The roman architecture inspired ceiling complements the whole Indian wedding elegant look and for sure one of the best weddings to plan your Sikh and Hindu Wedding in Chicago area.

The most important part of the wedding, of course after marrying the love of his life Harneet, was good music and beats to dance the night away; he had to get world renowned DJs Twin Beats - one of the best Punjabi DJs in the world.

Ashyana Banquet Hall was fully charged and ready for the couple’s grand entrance. With the roaring cheers from the guests, the couple walked with full energy dancing in the middle of the dancefloor.

Following the entrances, we had the couple’s family and friends’ speeches where we focus on capturing the emotions from tears, laughers and much more. Right after the speeches, we had our couple take the stage for their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Trust us that the black Sabyasachi floral gown flowed flawlessly as Harneet twirled in the middle of the dancefloor with Joe.

Remember how I told you this Chicago couple loves to dance; well Joe prepared a surprise dance along with his groomsmen for his bride and guests. The energy in this room, here in Chicago, was at its peak with twin beats playing some wicket bhangra mixes with EDM. The night was long to be over as both sides were down to party.

Part of the service is to deliver images within 8 weeks and we sent our slideshow link to the couple along with their gallery in 8 weeks. You can read how happy they were in their Google review.
